that $47,000 expense that is a fluke, a throwaway, not needed for survival, would feed my room mate and i well for over a year and we would be set to just go to school without a lot of stress. but i need to feel bad cause you know, you need $15,000 gowns. no.
I like how paying five figures for a garment to be worn exactly once is somehow a necessary and vital part of being a business executive, but a living wage and bare bones medical care is not a necessary and vital part of being a worker.
